Upload/Webcam Avatar

Benefits

This module enables users to customize their avatars through uploading local images or taking pictures by webcam. So every avatar in the chat can be unique, which is a great way to attract more traffic to your website.

How to launch the Change Avatar panel?

Three ways to do so.

1).Click the avatar icon in front of your own username, "change avatar".
2). Click the avatar icon in front of your own username, "edit your profile", click the arrow after "avatar" or the avatar picture.
3). Click the avatar picture in the input area, if it's enabled by the admin.

How to change avatar with the Upload/Webcam Avatar Module?

1. Upload Avatar

1). Click "Upload Avatar" and choose a local picture,
2). Adjust the size.
3). Then click done.

4). Custom avatar will show at the bottom of the "Change Avatar" panel. Altogether 8 recent custom avatars can be kept here.
5). Choose one avatar from the custom avatar collection and preview it here.
6). Click Submit to store your avatar.
7). The avatar uploaded will show in chat.

2. Webcam Avatar: Take a picture through webcam to change avatar.

1). Click "Webcam Avatar", and "Allow" access to camera and microphone in the "Adobe Flash Player Settings".
2). Take a picture.
3). Click Done to upload image.

4). Custom avatar will show at the bottom of the "Change Avatar" panel. Altogether 8 recent custom avatars can be kept here.
5). Choose one avatar from the custom avatar collection and preview it here.
6). Click Submit to store your avatar
7). Your webcam avatar will display in chat.
